Michelle Weese is a seasoned, results-oriented leader who is highly experienced in global corporate affairs and branding. Former Global Head of Corporate Communications for Mars, Ms. Weese is acknowledged as a strong problem solver who understands the issues and complexities of a global CPG/Food corporation with more than 70,000 associates and $32B in global sales.

In her tenure at Mars, Ms. Weese also served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Affairs North America and held a seat on the North American management team. She has a proven track record of strategic planning, concept development, key opportunity identification, launching new products and services, issues and crisis management, government and community affairs, acquisition/merger communications, reputation management and effectively leading corporate change. Recognized as a change agent, Ms. Weese excels at turnaround situations, building opportunities and deploying teams for flawless program execution.

Ms. Weese’s strategic approach to risk management helps clients identify and capitalize on opportunities as well as predict and mitigate threats to their organizations. Her experience working in partnership with other internal business functions in crisis situations has given her the ability to contribute in a full 360-degree business capacity, understanding the business implications as only an insider can. Her experience includes food safety, health & nutrition, sustainability, supply chain, sourcing, country of origin and labor issues, product recalls, litigation communication, regulatory investigations, manufacturing, plant and site safety and preparedness, shootings, bomb threats, gang-related incidents and more.
