JANE INGALS
Jane Ingals is a DMG Global partner and founder of Artemis in 2006. She has 25 years of experience on the front lines of corporate decision-making. Her extensive background combines corporate communications, strategy and message development, crisis communications, media relations and advocacy marketing for both public and private companies.
As a consultant to executive leadership, Ms. Ingals develops and articulates corporate strategy and aligns communications efforts with an organization’s strategic focus, brand positioning and core values. She also provides counsel on crisis communications, corporate communications, public relations and marketing. Ms. Ingals’ ability to combine strategy development, clear messages and effective marketing plans is integral to her clients’ success.
Prior to creating Artemis, Ms. Ingals served as senior vice president of corporate communications and chief of staff to the CEO and chairman of Janus Capital Group. She served on the firm’s Executive Committee, which developed business strategy and set the firm’s overall direction .
During her six-year tenure at Janus, Ms. Ingals managed the company’s media relations, employee communications and corporate philanthropy departments. She directed the firm’s investor relations activities when Janus became a public company and was an integral member of the financial communications team for quarterly earnings releases and presentations until her departure in 2006. She also wrote numerous presentations and speeches for the CEO and Chairman. Prior to joining Janus, Ms. Ingals held communications and marketing positions at Oppenheimer Funds, Sawyer/Miller Group, Prudential Securities and Morgan Stanley.
