ZHENG XIE

Zheng Xie is DMG Global’s Chief Legal Advisor and directs the company’s legal, financial, and investment strategies. She is a recognized expert on U.S. and Chinese legal and business issues. And she assists international clients in business and investment in the U.S., Asia, Europe, Africa, and across a range of industries—utilizing fresh and global perspectives and strategies to add new business value.

Ms. Xie also serves as Of Counsel to a top national law firm in Washington, D.C.—and focuses her legal practice on corporate matters, international commercial  transactions, and supply chain logistics. She advises clients on structuring business transactions, implementing compliance programs, establishing operating procedures, and managing legal issues.

Ms. Xie is actively involved in many business and legal organizations, including U.S.-China business and trade associations in Washington, D.C. She was born in China and has studied law extensively both there and in the U.S. She is a member of the New York Bar, the District of Columbia Bar, and the Chinese Bar—and is an expert in assisting U.S. clients doing business overseas and international clients doing business in the U.S.

Ms. Xie was the co-founder and former president of Washington Chinese Legal Association and is a now board director. In addition, she was a  television host at Washington Chinese Media—and is a Wharton Fellow and the co-founder of Washington Magic.

Ms. Xie obtained her B.A. in Economics and LL.M. in International Law from the University of International Business and Economics in Beijing, and she earned her LL.M. and J.D. from Washington University in St. Louis.
